This activity not only promotes oral expression and communication, but also encourages teamwork, and active listening, which contributes to the improvement of the English level. The activity consists of several distinct phases:

1º At the beginning of the activity, the instructor should give context to the participants. It could tell a story, an anecdote, or even make reference to any news or situation to put children in context, the instructor could even interact with them at the beginning. The main idea is to make reference to an idea, for example, in the present case: the future ( the subject may vary to create diversity and adapt it to a concrete group):

The instructor asks: Have you ever been asked what would you like to be in the future? Or have you ever thought about it? If so, children could be asked and they could answer aloud to the question. The instructor could tell his own story: When I was young I wanted to be  ( whatever) But you know what? Like the change that occurred from prehistoric times till now, there will be a change in our cities , in jobs, in transport ( hiperloop) and infrastructures, communications ... for this reason , you have in this activity, the opportunity to create your future life . The instructor uses two known characters as guides, or a film: Do you know Phineas and Ferb? If so, any of the participants could make a brief summary of who they are.

2º After that, the next phase of the activity would be a discussion or brainstorming, in which we would ask: How do you imagine the future? What do you think that will change? Time machines, flying cars, teleportation , perhaps?
3ºThen, we divide participants into small groups (example: for a group of 15, 5 groups of 3) each group will have to invent a object, machine or concept of the future, that will change the way of life as we know it today.

4º After a preparation time, each group will have to present each of the inventions to monitor and colleagues. Finally, of all the best invention we will vote.
